Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. on U.S. Highway 43 in the Dunn area. The driver of a southbound Ford Taurus, a male, age 45, reportedly crossed into the path of oncoming traffic. The Taurus collided head-on with a Chrysler van driven by a female, age 68.
